High Card -
Your hand does not fit the criteria of any of the poker hands listed below.
If no
player has any of the made hands listed below, the player with the highest card
wins. (Example: A player holding a King has a better hand than a player holding
a Queen.) |

One Pair -
Two cards of the same rank.
If two players have a pair, the player with
the higher pair wins (a pair of sevens is higher than a pair of sixes). |

Two Pair - Two cards of the same rank and a different two cards
of the same rank.
If two players each have two pair, the player with the higher two pair wins. (Aces
and Fives beats Aces and Twos…. In addition, Aces and Fives would beat Tens and
Nines). |

Three of a Kind - Three cards of the same rank.
If two players have three of a kind, the player with the higher three of a kind
wins. (3 nines is better than 3 eights). |

Straight - Five cards in sequence (not all of the same suit).
If two players each have a straight, the player with the higher straight wins. |

Flush - Any five cards of the same suit.
If two players each have a flush, the player containing the higher card in his or
her flush wins. |

Full House - Three cards of the same rank, and two cards of a different
rank.
If two players each have a full house, the player with the dominant full house wins.
(AAA55 beats AAA44, as well as KKKQQ). |

Four of a Kind - Four cards of the same rank.
If two players each have four of a kind, the player with the higher four of a kind
wins. (4 nines is better than 4 eights). |

Straight Flush - Five cards in sequence, that are also the same
suit. |

Royal Flush - A ten, jack, queen, king and ace, all of the same
suit. |
